Spring is right around the corner and it’s time to start planning! Create a casual, relaxed, festive atmosphere using items from Walmart Home. Here are my tips to creating an outdoor oasis:

Create a focal point by having a designed sitting area for family and friends to gather. Focal points encourage people to gather, chat and gravitate together in the space. - Add cozy pillows and outdoor rug to help define the space. I recommend a big rug, such as an 8 by 10, for a big patio or a 5 by 8, for a small patio size. I found this beautiful outdoor rug that’s perfect for spring.
- Add an umbrella and string light to the space for that cozy vibes. Try adding stylish outdoor lighting or strings of outdoor lights to further enhance that cozy glow in the evening.
- Add plants! Adding plants are a quick and easy way to update your outdoor areas each season.
- Set up a grilling area and get a grill that works for your family. Walmart has various grill options.
- Add some color – Summer means bright-colorful decor. You can easily change out your color scheme by changing out cushions, accessories and rugs.
